Verdict
BIG WAVE is only a pound higher than when winning this last year and, though a shade disappointing since landing a four-runner affair at Leicester in June, should take all the beating again. Alison Hutchinson's charge is one of several course and distance winners in the field but Oh So Spicy and Paradise Spectre haven't fired this year while Rough Rock has been racing over further lately. Whisky Bravo appears to have lost his way but Ryan Style has claims at the weights, though steps up in trip. The decision to run Brown Volcano over 5f last time backfired but he hadn't beaten much earlier at Bath.
