        Verdict

        This could rest between Foreplay, Villarosi and Al Rayanah, with the vote going to the first named. Ed Dunlop's charge ended last campaign with a deserved victory and has put in four solid efforts this season. The most recent was at Wolverhampton, where she finished just a length behind Katie Lawson. She still looks on a fair mark and looks set for a good run. Villarosi showed much improved form to chase home Linda's Colin in a competitive race at Newbury last time and if repeating that sort of effort she should be involved in the finish. Al Rayanah probably found the ten furlongs testing her stamina last time and she will be much more at home over this shorter trip. Mugeba would have strong claims on last season's form and may do best of the others, but Foreplay is our idea of the winner.
