In depth

Verdict

TINSELTOWN has been in great form over hurdles and carried that improvement back to the Flat at Catterick last week. He has a penalty to carry here but, in his current mood, should still take all the beating. Sommersturm isn't easy to predict but may improve for a his comeback over C&D while Grandad Mac has been sent off favourite for his last four starts, but only managed to win one of them. He's also up 3lb since his second at Kempton. Suzi's A Class Act is an infrequent winner but dual bumper winner Stock Hill Fair may do better on the level now qualified for handicaps and is preferred to Broughton Sands, who is better on the Polytrack and also has his stamina to prove.
