Verdict

Bashful is proving consistent if a tad frustrating. His chance is obvious but he might just find one too good again. Both Iconique and Queenie Newall delivered debuts of promise and will improve for the run while something was clearly amiss with Sarrood last time at Catterick when sent off a short-priced favourite. JUST JACOB is clearly not a Haggas leading light but has, nevertheless, shown ability over trips from an extended mile to 1m4f. This first attempt at an intermediate 1m2f trip may be just what's required.
