Verdict
Brilliant Blue was well beaten on fast ground at Ascot but did much better behind Dubai Poet on good going at Newbury despite being a 200/1 chance. The winner's yard is represented by GLAM DE VEGA, a 160,000gns yearling out of a mare who won a two-year-old Listed contest over this trip. My Boy Jack will be expected to make progress from his Leicester run but this looks a hot maiden with the Invincible Spirit colt Tranquil Night representing a yard in unstoppable form and Salvator Mundi, a son of Galileo, costing 200,000gns.
