Fossos and Elzaal filled the places behind the former with Lancashire Life even further behind though the latter went on to win over 6f back at Newcastle. Dandy's Max posted a better effort on his first outing for a new yard but THE GLOAMING was winning off a 7lb higher mark over course and distance back in May and gets a speculative vote with the soft ground in his favour.
