Verdict
Albegone missed out on a hat-trick when second at Redcar but was beaten only a head and can figure again. There was little between James Watt and Victory Angel at Ripon last time while Ventura Flame won at Beverley before disappointing in soft ground. Sound Of Iona beat Never Dark when scoring over track and trip last month while MELODY KING (NAP) was upped in class at Redcar last time. But the latter had earlier won in soft going at Sandown and John Quinn’s charge gets the vote back at this lower level.
