VERDIGRIS (NAP), lightly-raced in two seasons with Clive Cox, has really found form since joining Ruth Carr. The Intense Focus filly has travelled really well the last twice and quickened up stylishly to score sweetly at Redcar last month. A 7lb rise is feasible as she rates a potential improver and again faces a straight mile which seemed to suit so well the last twice. Arigato concedes weight all round but this represents a major drop in class for the Jarvis contender, far from disgraced in a classy handicap at the Derby meeting. Outside Inside will be interesting if taking part as he was due to run at Carlisle last night and Oud Metha Bridge is a player having gone well here the last twice, although this is a step-up in grade.
