        Verdict

        As is the norm in classified races, there is little between these at the weights but it could pay to stick with GAS MONKEY. Julia Feilden’s charge won over a mile at Kempton on his reappearance with a subsequent winner back in fourth and is preferred to Ruby's Gem, who has slipped down the handicap and was placed over a longer trip at Lingfield last time. Lulu Star was a well-beaten third at Newcastle in April while Comporta ran a shocker when sent off favourite over track and trip last week.
