      Verdict

      Nick Littmoden's Four Jays looks the one to beat, after his sound first effort at Ponterfract. This easier track should suit him better and he is taken to prove too strong for Menuhin, who may be better suited to a stiffer test. The latter runs here in preference to three other entries this week all of which were over 7-furlongs plus. Just Jennifer is an interesting runner as she holds an entry in the Group 1 Cheveley Park Stakes. She is an early foal and should be more forward than most of her rivals and is certainly one to watch in the market.
