    Verdict

DANNIOS is turning into a real course specialist and made a successful reappearance over track and trip last week under useful 7lb claimer Noel Garbutt. This is a slightly stronger heat but Ed Walker's six-year-old doesn't have a penalty and it will take a decent performance to lower his colours. Elusive Hawk must be a danger as he followed up a victory over 6f here with a head second to Big Wave last week but the three-year-olds Performing Pocket and Sunley Pride need to improve on recent efforts to figure and this may be a little too tough for Jonnie Skull. Great Expectations may need some help from the handicapper to get back to winning ways.
