Verdict

This finale looks wide open and we tentatively side with CHOISHARP ahead of Corton Charlemagne and Cavite. The selection was the beaten favourite when last seen and was surprisingly kept to 5f after finding this coming all to quickly at Newmarket two starts ago. He'll appreciate this return to 6f and looks capable of losing his maiden tag. Rae Guest trained Corton Charlemagne was given an aggressive ride when second at Warwick last time and has every chance here. She clearly prefers this shorter trip and looks a capable sort. Cavitie is another who finished runner up when last seen. He did well to keep on with the winner in the final furlong there and this test over a longer trip should see him at least make the minors. Check the market for clues to the remainder. Jack's House and Kings Ace look capable of pressuring the front three but improvement is needed if they are to make the money here. So for our winner we return to Choisharp.
