Verdict
La Isla Bonita has become a firm favourite here, having scored three wins from six starts this season. She is now 17lb higher than the first of those successes and only just scraped home here last time. LATE CHANGE (NAP) has also scored here the last twice and was particularly impressive last time. The cut in the ground is a slight concern but she looks one to follow until beaten with her turn of foot hopefully proving decisive once again. The remainder are not in the best of form at present with the possible exception being Golden Slam. The Varian gelding is very lightly-raced for a four-year-old and has suggested that the best is yet to come on the back of two respectable mid-division finishes this term over this trip.
