In depth
Verdict
SKUKUZA was a 66/1 chance for his debut at Newbury but belied the odds with an excellent effort, leading until a furlong out and staying on when headed by the odds-on Warm Spell. He'll be at short odds to go one better though Khisah Bu Thaila was the same odds when making a promising debut at Newmarket where he led at the 2f pole and only weakened close home. Arabic Art is a son of Dark Angel and the first foal of a 1m2f winner. An entry in the Group 2 Champagne Stakes at Doncaster suggests he's held in some regard while Invictus Spiritus cost 150,000gns and is a half-brother to several smart winners so is one to keep an eye on.
