In depth

Verdict

Flower Of Thunder, a three-times track winner, is fitted with cheekpieces for the first time after hanging right-handed when runner-up here early this month. Queen's Company won a Class 6 handicap here but hasn't been able to make the step up in grade the last twice. STAGE SHOW is still a maiden after seven starts but has mainly been racing at a higher level so this could be his day. Perfect Gentleman's two victories have been at Kempton but he wasn't beaten far on fast going at Salisbury in June.
