Verdict
Another wide open handicap rounds off the card and many have chances but the vote goes to Molotov with Salon Prive, Laurel Dawn and On The Trail heading a big list of dangers. The selection was a fair third behind Loughlorien doing all his best work at the finish last time, the step up in trip will suit and with conditions in his favour he will be hard to beat. Salon [Prive rates the main danger he was a fair second behind Yorkies Boy off this mark last time out but that form has since been let down and for that reason he is opposed. Laurel Dawn is another worthy of respect he finished in mid-division in a better race behind Hout Bay last time and with the drop in grade and step up in trip sure to suit he has definite place claims. On The Trail is another that could go well but he just gave the impression that the handicapper had caught up with him when second behind Bowling along last time. Of the remainder Pretty Kool is from a yard in form and is worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to Molotov.
