LYRIC POET has the best form over today's trip with a couple of placed efforts to his name including at this track last time. His ability to handle the prevailing soft ground has to be taken on trust but he should make a bold bid if doing so. Quixote has also been placed over C&D and News Show should handle the longer trip after making the frame on her last two starts. Chankillo never threatened when attempting today's distance last time while Authentication and Rishikesh are open to improvement on their handicap debuts.
