Verdict
According to the official ratings Equpe De Nuit has terms in his favour in the claimer but with him wildly out of form we side with THEOCRITUS with Intikama also on the shortlist. Having won three times in his last six starts the selection certainly seems to be in form and he also drops down in grade after winning a fair looking handicap off a mark of 67 last time. Equipe De Nuit has some fair maiden form as a two-year-old but having not shown anything this season it's no surprise that he drops into this company for the first time, which could bring about a small improvement. Intikama has plenty to offer on these terms and after some solid runs in the handicap ranks he should go well at this standard. Sir Mark Prescott's Torch of Freedom puts in his best work at this level so should go well again while Solo River isn't weighted out of this after scoring in this company two starts ago. Not the best start to the action but Theocritus should prevail.
