IMHOTEP couldn't go the early pace at Kempton and took a long time to warm up but was staying on at the finish and should have come on enough to land this. Hellovasinger, who finished around 3l behind, looks held but Spirited Guest showed real promise on his return to action at Kempton in March so another long lay-off shouldn't be a problem. James Tate's yard is going well and Futuristic will have come on markedly for his run on soft ground at Doncaster where he attracted strong support.
