      Verdict

      Awsaaf completed a hat-trick of minor handicap victories but couldn't handle much better company at Bath on Sunday and this is his level. Invincible Larne beat three rivals easily over the minimum here but went up 7lb and struggled over an extra furlong at Chelmsford. Global Hope had an easy task in a maiden handicap over the track and trip but found a 6lb rise and an extra furlong beyond him on a return visit. Back over this trip he can go well again but VICTORY ROSE (NAP) may have his measure. A winner at Doncaster in June, she ran quite well on her debut for new connections at Kempton last month and looks the one to beat though Dark Side Dream, five times an all-weather winner, gained his first success on Turf over the minimum here last time and has to be respected.
