In depth

Verdict

Most are fully exposed with the topweighted FAR FLUNG a notable exception. Jim Best's Irish import was easily beaten on her English debut in an ordinary northern maiden, but there was enough promise in two Irish runs to suggest that this drop in trip will suit and improvement will be forthcoming. She's hard to assess on relatively limited evidence but is worth chancing. Cane Cat has done connections proud this term and has gone well on both visits here so represents an obvious danger. She should go close again off what remains a feasible mark. The remainder all have some sort of chance, notably Dragon Slayer off a mark of 58. The gelding usually runs his race and goes well for amateur and conditional pilots.
