An open contest in which MEMPHIS MAN, busily campaigned in typical David Evans fashion, is a hopeful choice. Readily forgiven a modest effort in a Chester amateur riders race last time, he arrives just 2lb higher than when last scoring at Salisbury in May. He'll handle trip and ground, with Meia Notte appealing as his likeliest danger. The lightly-raced four-year-old stepped up on previous efforts when touched off at Wolverhampton this month and looks on the upgrade. Captainrisk and Steel City Boy finished one-two last week over C&D and there should be little between them on revised terms. Tudor Prince scored over C&D way back in 2007 and whilst on the downgrade, he's still capable of fair form at this level and makes each-way appeal off his plummeting mark.
