Verdict
Colour Guard's fourth behind Labarinto was another decent effort and he has his sights lowered a little here. Mark Johnston's gelding has still to win on Turf, however, while there's a suspicion that Watered Silk hasn't been putting it all in lately and a visor is tried here after blinkers were worn last time at Haydock. Anjaz is lightly-raced and will probably appreciate dropping back to 1m2f but we just prefer INITIATOR. He's better than he showed when favourite at Epsom last time but the winner of that race, Universal, has scored again since so the form is probably decent and Jeremy Noseda's charge has won both previous starts on good to firm ground. Incendiary may be the pick of the remainder as it's almost three months since Commitment was last seen and most of his form is on a softer surface.
