In a wide-open end to the card our marginal vote goes to DOWNHILL SKIER. Mark Brisbourne's horse is largely consistent and has shown lately that he's just about poised to strike, most notably when placed over this trip at Warwick. The handicapper has given the horse a chance by returning him to the same mark of 56 and this is very much his grade. Bermondsey Bob is another to have suggested there might be a win in him before the season is out and he copes with this ground but may get embroiled in a battle for the lead which would severely harm his chance. Sweet Mirasol would look seriously interesting were it not for this ground as her best form is on much quicker and similar comments apply to Bold Ring, so best of the rest may be the well handicapped Fuzzy Cat.
