Verdict

George Boughey is making a speciality of running up rapid-fire sequences with stable inmates and Spangled Mac is already four from six this term, the last three of which have come since July 6. He gained one of those successes under the talented apprentice on board here and is obviously in the rudest of health. He did only get home by a neck last time though and is taken on with COMMANDMENT. Ed Dunlop's filly followed up a narrow Newmarket defeat last month with a decisive Pontefract victory over this trip and a 3lb rise is not too demanding. She's going the right way and has her conditions. Wajd won here last season at the Eastern Festival meeting and is still unexposed and makes some appeal, whilst Media Guest scored at the same festival but has been somewhat disappointing since.
