    Verdict

Felicitous can give the in-form boys in blue another winner, with Conservative, Girandola and Tetrode playing for the places. Felicitous was placed on both of her juvenile outings last term, at Newbury and Newmarket, and a closer inspection of the second of those two fair efforts reveals how much of a chance she has here. The daughter of King's Best finished a neck ahead of Wasseema, who this season has come out to score twice, most recently in Listed company at Ascot, and although the selection has been off until now, her recent work on the Limekilns has been most encouraging. With Godolphin now back in full swing, it will be a surprise if she does not quickly make her mark here. Conservative's dam is a half-sister to First Trump, and whatever he does today, the Willie Haggas-trained gelding should have a bright future. Girandola looks one to note when going handicapping, while Tetrode is the only four-year-old in the line-up and has to give weight away all round. This race is safely left to Felicitous.
