In depth

Verdict

Mujassam was heavily eased at York, but that was nevertheless still a disappointing effort. Newmarket winner Fieldsman may have found the trip too far next time at Epsom but wasn't disgraced and goes on the short-list here. He makes more appeal than Jammy Guest, who has won three times on the all-weather this year but has only won one of his 18 races on turf. Easy Tiger was backed as though defeat was out of the question last time at Goodwood but again found one too good and has been raised 2lb since. PICK YOUR CHOICE hasn't raced since July of last year but fitness is rarely an issue for one from his yard. Still unexposed, it would be no surprise if he proved a good deal better than a mark of 88 this year. Kempton winner Mezmaar may find this company too hot but Brazos is starting to look well treated and could be a danger.
