Verdict
COMMANDER COLE, back to form with a battling success at Doncaster, remains an interesting proposition as he faces the starter for only the ninth time in three seasons. That success suggests he is equally at home on Turf as an artificial surfaces and he's taken to follow up despite being raised 4lb for a narrow success. Protected Guest didn't appear to last home over this trip at Newmarket on Friday and Another Eclipse was due to run yesterday at Goodwood while Bless Him is unproven at the trip. Great Hall is better short-list material as he's gone well here before including when landing a £12,000 prize at last year's Eastern Festival meeting.
