Verdict
Waiting All Night and Persuasion were second and third respectively behind Final Watch at Newmarket earlier this month. The latter is 2lb better off today so may turn the tables though both have proved hard to win with. Able Kane beat Final Watch at HQ later and ran well again in a higher grade at York but little went right for RAMIRO (NAP) at Ayr 10 days ago. However, he still managed to get his head in front where it mattered and a 4lb penalty here may not be enough to prevent a quick double as he will be 7lb higher in the weights from next week. Helm Rock has been frustrating to follow and so has Farhh To Shy, who often travels strongly but doesn’t seem to find a lot off the bridle.
