Panshir took advantage of a dropping handicap mark when scoring over course and distance on Monday and is taken to defy his penalty and score at the main expense of William John and Beau Marche. The last mentioned has been running well of late and has claims on form but would probably want a faster surface so may be best watched. Apres Ski is less exposed than most but has also yet to confirm his ability on ground this testing, while Bank On Benny is proving to be hard to win with and looks booked for a place at best again. Formidable Will is another yet to prove that he is at home on ground this testing, while Baby Barry faces no easy task back in a handicap having been running well in sellers and claimers of late. William John has an obvious chance judged by recent form and should appreciate the return to this trip but he is probably better on a faster surface and a safer bet looks to be Panshir, who is taken to win his second race here in a week.
