BALLANTRUAN improved for first-time blinkers when runner-up over track and trip last month. Further progress looks on the cards if handling the soft ground and he’s preferred to Breccia. The latter finished runner-up at Sandown on his debut though the form hasn’t worked out well while Kemari also found one too good at Newmarket on his introduction. Swiss Mistress cost €240,000 as a full-sister to Group 1 winner Technician and is preferred of the newcomers.
