In depth
Verdict
There is a fair bit of deadwood here and although Analogy, Lady Laureate and Circus Maximus are respected, the Mick Channon-trained Misternando is on the crest of a wave at the moment and may still be ahead of the handicapper at present. The Hernando colt has improved with the turning of the ground and has reveled on the firm conditions to wrack-up a quick-fire hat-trick of late. He faces a stiffer test here but as there is no obvious pacemaker in the race, he could well have the race unfold to suit again. Analogy is another who does not do anything quickly and is passed over in favour of the game Lady Laureate to chase the selection home.
