In depth
Verdict
In this handicap, we will shortlist Mineral Star, Dispol Katie and Grey Boy and take a chance on Dispol Katie. The reason why Dispol Katie has been chosen is that, quite simply, she is now racing from a pound below the mark that she won from last July. A return to that level of form would give her a good chance. Mineral Star looked progressive when winning two from three from a high of 82 last summer and cannot be ruled out today from an 85 rating. Grey Boy hails from a stable in form and, despite the fact that he keeps getting raised for narrow defeats, he still looks competitive today. Turning to the others and Fiefdom would hold a big chance on his 2004 form, Bobski is eight pounds above previous-best winning mark, Pintle has been beaten off revised marks since her course and distance success, H Harrison is back to his winning Musselburgh mark of last summer, but the one-time useful Capricho looks to be in decline now. All of which returns us to the selection, which is Dispol Katie.
