Verdict
Gulliver has won four times here and only just failed to catch Commanche Falls in the Stewards' Cup at Goodwood last time. However, he has 6lb to find with TABDEED on official ratings and the latter, a Group 3 winner at Newbury last summer, looks ready to score again after finishing runner-up to Summerghand in a Newmarket Listed contest. Great Ambassador finished just behind Gulliver at Goodwood when receiving 4lb but has since won a decent Newmarket handicap so isn't out of this. The three-year-old Fivethousandtoone, runner-up in the Mill Reef at this time a year ago, hasn't made the expected progress this campaign.
