Verdict

Looking For Lynda makes her handicap debut and has a shout on a fourth over a slightly shorter trip in Listed company here but RUSSET GOLD showed a big improvement dropped down to the minimum trip at Pontefract and returned an easy winner of a novices race. He gets the vote to show further progress. Queenie Rooney is another novice winner having dead-heated at Hamilton while Havana By The Sea landed a maiden at Beverley last time, though that was on soft ground. Betweenthesticks is penalised for landing a handicap at Wolverhampton and is upped in class.
