Catch Cunningham won over track and trip last month with Mattice back in fourth. The latter is preferred of Tim Easterby’s four runners though was also beaten by Show Me Show Me at Newcastle earlier. Alligator Alley finished just in front of stablemate Nomadic Empire when fourth at Haydock but BEDFORD FLYER beat the latter when scoring here last season. Les Eyre’s charge faced a tough task at Beverley on his return from an absence and first start gelded but is not badly treated back in a handicap so gets a speculative vote. It was soft going when Zargun was narrowly beaten in this last year ahead of Ey Up It's Maggie but Copper Knight has won this in the past and generally thrives here.
