        Verdict

        Ishvara, the sole winner, is hard to assess, having followed up a debut win on soft with a last of 10 finish in Listed company at Newbury. This should provide an accurate assessment of her ability on forecast good ground. Clan Royale is respected but has been turned over at short odds twice and connections now reach for blinkers while No Mercy was low-key last time on a first start on soft ground, though he's a player if conditions are good or quicker. Alben Spirit, well supported on debut, showed distinct promise and should go well but LEAPERS WOOD is given one more chance in the belief that this strong traveller will prove well suited to the Knavesmire.
