NAVELLO had useful early-season form and was returning from a break when second over 6f at Catterick last month. Though his trainer believes he is better on faster surfaces, he handles the soft and gets a handy 4lb from Korker, who beat Instinctive Move and Russellinthebushes in a higher grade at Haydock two weeks ago. Josies Kid has been gelded so could find some improvement with the unbeaten Maybe Even Never even less exposed. Bay Breeze finally won a race at Beverley last month and Catch Cunningham should be thereabouts again.
