Verdict
RAISING SAND is having a rare run away from Ascot but showed he had dropped to a fair mark at the Berkshire venue in August. He looks to have a good draw and won’t mind the ground so gets the nod. Redarna is penalised for his latest win at Ayr and seems best at that track but Another Batt could be interesting after a short break while Ouzo won this 12 months ago under similar conditions and off the same mark so has to go on the shortlist. Challet is 2-2 here and made all last time over 7f but La Trinidad, who started favourite, was slowly away and should get closer on better terms being a standing dish himself here. King's Knight and Broken Spear also warrant a mention.
