Pol Roger and Sound Pressure are dual novice winners that were beaten on their handicap debuts while most of the remainder are upped from 7f. That includes SURELY NOT, who beat the re-opposing Metahorse and a couple of subsequent winners when scoring at Newbury and should improve further over this extra furlong. Grey's Monument has been raised 10lb for an easy win at Haydock while Prince Nabeel and novice winner John Chard Vc are others to consider.
