Verdict
Brides Hill won three times over hurdles last year and wasn't beaten far in a Listed contest at Punchestown in April. BROOMFIELD HALL improved massively over timber last season, landing a mares' maiden at Naas before beating a huge field of handicappers at Punchestown. Happy D'ex, a winning point-to-pointer and bumper, won a maiden hurdle at Downpatrick and had little to beat when completing a double at Perth. Dual hurdles winner Mighty Meggsie has finished runner-up in her first five starts over fences and looks vulnerable while Return To Base was soon struggling on her chasing bow at Kilbeggan.
