        Verdict

        CORMIER returned to the Flat with a cosy victory at Pontefract in May and has conditions to suit once again. Brian Ellison’s charge is taken to defy a rise in the weights while Bollin Joan is penalised for scoring at Ripon recently having earlier won over track and trip. Noble Masquerade was successful at Kempton last time but has form on soft going, as does Furzig. Anythingtoday has yet to take advantage of a slide down the weights while Ispahan has yet to encounter soft ground.
