      Verdict

      Kevin Ryan has good record in this and Batal Zabeel won at Beverley on last month’s handicap debut. But earlier collateral form gives him something to find with TROPICAL ISLAND who went close at Ripon last time and a good run from third-placed The Coffee Pot earlier on the card would boost confidence. There was little between Windsor winner Media Shooter and Nazalan here last time while Watch My Tracer is another handicapping for the first time.
