Verdict

Nurseries remain a hard call at this stage of the season but SHAWAAHID did well to get up and beat the more experienced Field of Vision on debut in a manner indicating that he's in need of a sixth furlong. He may well have been let in lightly for this handicap debut and his yard have such a strong line to overall juvenile profiles and form. Shanghai Glory will find this easier than when well-beaten at Royal Ascot behind Waterloo Bridge and Mon Beau Visage steps down from a fair effort in a Pontefract conditions stakes last time. However, Bint Aldar showed good speed in an admittedly ordinary maiden last time and could be the main danger in receipt of weight all round.
