    Verdict

The Barry Hills-trained Chelsea Morning ran promisingly on her reappearance in April when a close up fifth behind Sweet Clementine in a Kempton maiden and she has claims on that evidence but is likely to find the ground softer than ideal as is Soviet Secret, who has found one too good in each of his three starts, and a better bet may prove to be SAFWAAN. The son of Selkirk was very disappointing on his debut in a Newmarket maiden when never looking likely to trouble the leaders when finishing last of the eight runners but he was only beaten four-and-a-half lengths and looks worth siding with on ground that should suit. David Barron's Ezra Church has similar form to Soviet Secret having been placed in his last two starts but is also likely to better suited by faster ground than will be available on the Knavesmire today. Zakiy has run creditably in both starts on the Polytrack for William Haggas and has to be of interest on his turf debut but a better bet may be stable companion, Safwaan.
