Verdict

Only four runners go to post for this Listed race with Fort Dignity the one to beat ahead of Day Flight, Go For Gold and Mac Regal. The selection ran well in a group 3 race at Newbury when fourth behind Salford City. He had previously won well on his debut at Yarmouth but on both of his runs to date he has shown inexperience and the chances are that there is still plenty of improvement to come. He looks a smart prospect and is taken to score. Day Flight made a pleasing debut at Salisbury when defeating River Gypsy and he is another that looks to have a bright future. Go For Gold made hard work of his maiden at Gowran Park before eventually prevailing, and with the step up in trip in his favour he could go well, but he ran very green on that day and will have to show significant improvement to trouble the principles. Mac Regal finished behind Let The Lion Roar and Top Seed at Newbury last time and as they did not exactly advertise the form yesterday he looks opposable, and we are happy to stick with Fort Dignity as our idea of the winner.
