Verdict
Jabaar is easily the pick at these weights and while not in the best of form is still fancied to land the spoils for Dave Nicholls, ahead of Forbearing and Say What you See. The five-year-old was trained by Ed Dunlop last season, and was the convincing winner of a competitive handicap at Newmarket last May, off a mark of 84. He finished the season with a very respectable fourth off a 13 pound higher mark at Newbury, and while he failed to impress on his reappearance, his first start for David Nicholls, this is a massive drop in class and he is hard to oppose in this company. Say What You See put up a much improved performance to win a maiden at 50/1 at Bath last time, and would certainly have place claims if running to that level again, while Sir Mark Prescott's Forbearing is also well treated at these weights and can be expected to fare better in this company than he did in a competitive handicap at Epsom last time.
