Man O'Mystery bids to go one better than his two seconds in the contest. There is no Foreign Affairs in this race and he is two pounds lower than last year, although a draw of fourteen has to be a severe negative. Sir Michael Stoute has targetted decent horses at this race (including Medicean) and Leadership gets in here off just 8st 6lb. He was third in the King George V Stakes to Systematic and looks ideally boxed today. He won't be a great price but he does look difficult to oppose with everything in its favour. Beauchamp Pilot steps up from a mile and has a highly interesting jockey booking . He is drawn in the car park today and is perhaps best opposed today. Kelburne is well in today at the handicap and with the Semple yard enjoying decent form, he has to go close if getting the run of the race. Vintage Premium represents the in-form Richard Fahey yard. He should run admirably from the front but the lack of recent rain will probably count against him.
