Verdict

MON BRAV has been coaxed back to his best lately and should give backers a run for their money in a wide-open finale, though he'll need the gaps appear at the right time to enable him to deliver his customary late thrust. He's much more of a 6f performer nowadays and can handle a 6lb rise for his recent Catterick victory. Time And Place has to be feared as he's only had the nine starts and shaped most promisingly behind Duke Cosimo last time. Ella's Delight makes his handicap bow after just two starts and has obvious scope, while Relight My Fire has claims near the foot of the weights as he usually comes good around this time of year and signalled a return to form last time at Carlisle.
