    Verdict

Brown Panther is penalised for last year's success in the Irish St Leger but had Havana Beat well behind when landing a Group 2 at Meydan back in March. He should still make a bold bid and is preferred to the veteran stayer Times Up, well beaten the last time he competed in this back in 2012. The latter's stablemate Island Remede also looks up against it but Group 3 winner Snow Sky has every chance on last year's third in the St Leger when a length behind runner-up ROMSDAL (NAP). John Gosden's colt was caught a bit flat-footed in the lead at Newbury last time but was rallying at the finish and the return to 1m6f can see him get his head back in front.
